Amanda Seales formerly Amanda Diva (born in Los Angeles California on July 1st of 1981) is a comedian and DJ. Her move to Orlando at the age of 8 years old. Following her graduation at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Amanda went to SUNY Purchase to study undergrad. The Columbia University masters in African American Studies, with a particular focus on hip-hop was her second degree. The year 1994 saw her begin her acting career with the Nickelodeon comedy My Brother and Me as Deonne. Then, she was known for being an TV host Amanda Diva and the face of MTV2 Sucker Free Sundays. She spent some time working as a spoken-word poet, and recording artist. In 2011 she returned to TV and added stand up comedy to her credits. She is CEO of DivaWorks Inc her production company under which she performs and produces smart funny content on stage and screens. She's very engaged in the project that seeks to help empower young girls.
