Zazie Olivia beetz was born on January 1st, 1991 in Berlin. Her father is an German cabinet maker who immigrated into the United States in 1990 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African-American social worker who hails from New York. Jennifer Aniston also graduated from her high school. Beetz continued her French study through Skidmore College, after graduating LaGuardia. Beetz began auditioning shortly following graduation, and she was then offered the part in Atlanta. Beetz, born to an African American father and a German mother who was born in Berlin and Berlin was brought up as a bilingual New Yorker. Zazie began appearing on community and local stage in her early days. In grade school she began acting and went on to become a professional actress. Zendaya landed her Disney Channel breakout role thanks to Zendaya's impressive dance abilities. In 2010, the actress and dancer finally landed her breakout performance when she was cast in the role of Rocky Blue in the show "Shake it Up," along with her co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya was 11 when she became vegetarian after she saw an animal slaughterhouse during an excursion with her father. PEOPLE quotes her as saying, "It was horrible to watch all those animals waiting inside that slaughterhouse." I couldn't believe that's how I'd gotten my meat!" Since then she's been following a strict diet based on plants.
