Jenna Fischer has become best known for her role as Pam Beesly, the character she played in The Office. For her character, she was awarded two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy as well as an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she was raised in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne used to perform in church dramas in her younger years, and this instilled an enthusiasm for theatre.
Fischer is an actress with theater training. She played Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy. At the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, She starred opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's hilarious comedy Meteor Shower.
